During this time of disruption, we need to have access to our essential rights as Americans including the right to vote.  Elections are coming up on June 23, 2020 for the Presidential, Congressional and State primaries. And for the General Election on November 3rd.  Stay tuned for information about the method of voting and also about absentee ballots. Currently the only way to register on line is through the NY DMV.  It takes 5 minutes.
Meanwhile, it might be advisable to apply soon for an absentee ballot to avoid any last minute rush or complications in June or in November.

While the timing couldn’t be more challenging, it is VERY important that every resident fill out the 2020 census.  Funding for our community depends on an accurate count of all of us.  You can still complete the census form online  or you can call between 7am and 2am 844.330.2020 (English) and 844.468.2020 (Spanish).  This will mean more funding for things like our hoped for water treatment facility, for the revitalization of Eddie Collins Park, Climate Smart projects and CDBG monies for things like new sidewalks in the Village, and the construction of the Town/Village maintenance shed.
